EAC represented a buyer in purchasing an historic property and transforming it from a SRO into a two-family residence featuring, a spacious triplex and a garden apartment. The approach was to ensure that the re-design opened up and enlivened the living spaces while also preserving as many historical elements as possible. Careful consideration was given to the repositioning of a kitchen and addition of bathrooms to create spaces attuned to a family’s needs as well as to ensure guest’s comfortability. From design and construction consultation through receiving the final certificate of final occupancy.
